My Life, My Quit™’s mission is to support all Colorado youth regardless of their experiences, background, or goals related to quitting. When you decide you want to make a change, we have the tools to help you be successful. It’s not easy and there’s no perfect solution but My Life, My Quit coaches can help you take the next step when you’re ready.
How does My Life, My Quit work?
It’s up to you how you want to participate. My Life, My Quit’s online program allows you to go at your own pace. The program is self-guided and includes information about vaping and tobacco, and activities to support quitting and stress relief. Coaches are available on demand via text or live chat for additional support and tips.

My Life, My Quit coaches are available to talk when you need them via live text messaging, online chat, or by phone on a dedicated toll-free number (1.855.891.9989).
Whether you choose to enroll by phone or online, you can sign up to receive text messages for extra encouragement and helpful tips to help you reach your goal.
Do I need parent/guardian permission to sign up?
No. This service is confidential. That means what you share, including your participation in the program, is kept between you and My Life, My Quit staff. We will not tell anyone what you share with us about your smoking or vaping or even that you contacted us. Not only do we respect your privacy, we have to keep things confidential according to state law. Anyone age 12-17 is able to consent to use this service on their own.
I’m not ready to quit yet but I want to cut back. Can My Life, My Quit help?
Yes. My Life, My Quit coaches understand that everyone is different. If you’re worried about your use and want to cut back, we can help you set and meet your goal.
I’ve tried quitting before. How can My Life, My Quit help?
Using a science-based program like My Life, My Quit, can increase your chances of quitting successfully. A coach can help you create a personalized plan that works for you.. They are all trained to be good listeners and to give callers encouragement, support, and helpful tips.
Who are My Life, My Quit coaches?
Our staff represent diverse perspectives in life experience, lived identities, and cultural backgrounds. My Life, My Quit coaches are professionals specially trained to listen to young people, help navigate social situations that involve tobacco or vaping, and work with you to find healthy ways to cope with stress. Many coaches formerly used tobacco themselves so they can relate to what you’re going through.
